What is this ugly cladding I keep seeing on BISF houses?

I really don't mean to offend anyone but I've been looking at different cladding and insulation options lately and I keep seeing a couple of different styles than look absolutely terrible as they either hold the dirt or don't appear to be properly matched.

Obviously I want to try and avoid these suppliers and just wondered if anyone knew who the suppliers were so I can avoid going down the same route?

Likewise, does any one particular cladding type stay cleaner than others or look more realistic if brick effect is used?

The brick styles I've seen look like printed hardboard from the 70's.

I'll try and post some images or google links below if I can.

The one on the left looks filthy and the one on the right looks like printed board and the cement line colour on the bottom left doesn't even match.

Second try 😉

The one on the left looks filthy and the one on the right looks like printed board and the cement line colour on the bottom left doesn't even match.

Faded and discoloured

The cladding on this house looks nice. It's the first time I have ever seen the complete house clad from top to bottom.

Surely this isn't how it should look is it?
