Thoughts on this one please
unfortunatley it was not me that put the offer in it got snapped up, it was indeed a repossession! I called the agent last Monday and arranged for my partner to view it the following Friday, the earliest se could manage, she lives in Aberdeen, did the note of interest through my solicitor who confirmed I was the only interest, next day he called me to at they had received an offer above the asking price, I said ok we’ll still view it and see if we can beat the offer, on the Thursday we were told the offer was accepted!! The Cummings park went too!
Only one other in Aberdeen.
Bit expensive though and no driveway. The agent can’t contact the vendor!!! But I’m harassing them daily!!
Gee this BISF project and the need for it to be on Aberdeen is proving difficult!
Well having lost out on 2 and the 3rd being a bit pricy for the area, plus the agent unable to contact the vendor, I spotted this beauty..,,,
Partner went to see it today and I’ve put an offer in, fingers crossed this time!!!
Hi Pete, it certainly looks like the property market is quite buoyant in your search area, with no shortage of buyers.
The Moir Crescent property appears to be well presented with nice flat walls and ceilings. It shouldn’t take too much effort to get that property exactly how you want it.
I’m surprised that I’m not seeing many externally insulated properties coming up for sale in that area, it would certainly be a bonus and a considerable future cost saving if an insulated property came up in the market. Sadly, the Google street view images for that area were taken in 2014, which was before the Green Deal Insulation initiative became effective, allowing many homeowners to purchase subsidised EWI.
Obviously EWI is not a necessity, but it could save you paying anything up to £18K in the future for a one off project.
