Due to noisy neighbours and as part of a major refurbishment of our BISF house, I have stripped back the party wall to the breeze blocks (see photographs).
I am investigating the possibility of having cavity wall insulation injected between the properties to reduce the noise. I will then add thick insulation to help with the noise suppression.
Has any other BISF property owner addressed this issue with cavity wall insulation?
How can I clarify how the party wall is constructed? Is it breeze block wall / air gap breeze / block wall?
Will cavity wall insulation assist in soundproofing the wall?
How do you confirm that whilst filling the cavity in my property that the insulation doesn’t flow into next door?

I am at the initial investigation stage now but I would like to start the project soon.

I would appreciate any help that BISF owners can provide.
